Jana Kramer is a country singer, songwriter and actor that made her name known on the television screen when she was played by Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. The series featured her first albums as country music and helped propel her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015 also made it to the Top Ten. Her decade culminated with participation for Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, she released the self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, fell in love with country music. In the future, she was pursuing an acting career. Her first professional role was as a actress in the film Dead/Undead in 2002, when she was still a teenager. In the past she was on numerous shows, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights' 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer next appeared in 90210 as Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. Then in 2009, she was part of One Tree Hill's ensemble as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the role until midway through the last season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her stint as Alex Dupre, on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted the contemporary song "I Won't Give Up in a one of the 2011 One Tree Hill episode. In 2012, it came out as a single on Jana Kramer - her first album. It climbed to number 5 on Billboard Top Country Albums. Her focus was on her musical career afterward, she did not stop acting. she was a part of films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. Kramer's second album, Thirty One came out through Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. I Got the Boy - a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer in a duet helped to make it into the top ten spot on the Billboard 200. In September of 2016, her time on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended with a 4th place finishing.
